Summary
Castiel Novak was born with a pig snout. The only way to break the curse is to find someone of his own kind that will love and accept him the way he is — but despite his parents’ best efforts, he’s still alone. When he finally decides to leave home, he knows it can either bring him happiness or more heartbreak — but he’s ready to risk everything if it means he gets to be free, even for a little while.

Summary
One night, a mysterious visitor appears in young Prince Dean's bedroom, and he suddenly finds himself transported to an abandoned replica of his home in an unknown land. He learns quickly that the borders are finite, and none may leave without incurring the wrath of the guardian: a dragon the people call Storm.
Left with no choice, Dean adapts to life as the others have, tending to the animals and working the land to survive. As he grows up, the life he knew as a prince seems more and more distant, until a new person arrives that he remembers from his childhood. Shaken by this arrival, Dean’s desire to escape returns anew, and he discovers more than he wanted to know about the Shadowlands and its occupants -- especially about the mysterious guardian of the castle, Castiel.

Summary
Dean Winchester is not the last son of a dying planet. He was not bitten by a radioactive anything (to his knowledge), nor does he possess the ability to communicate with any particular kind of animal. Ants are out. Fish don’t care one way or another what he has to say. He didn’t build a cool iron suit, nobody experimented on him, he didn’t get exposed to any gamma radiation. He’s not the god of anything. He’s just a guy who is really hard to beat up.
The vigilante justice thing though. That he’s got.
Plus he looks really fucking badass in black leather. -

Summary
Sheriff Dean Winchester takes great care of his little town of Alderson, a generally sleepy slice of the dusty west, save for a few train robberies and some cattle rustling, of late. When a dirty stranger rolls into town, the close-knit community starts to point fingers, and Dean finds himself arresting one Cas Novak, a drunk and gambler of no renown. When the richest rancher in the county decides on Novak as a convenient scapegoat, Sheriff Winchester finds himself protecting the stranger until he can get to the bottom of things. Luckily for Cas Novak, the Sheriff is a bit of a soft touch; unluckily for Cas, their attraction goes both ways. Maybe Dean needs him just as much as Cas needs the Sheriff, and not just to beat his bad reputation.
